Snow is falling and Anti Freeze is in higher Demand than ever before
Britain is braced for more snow and freezing conditions today but a white Christmas now looks unlikely as milder weather is on the way, forecasters have said.
The cold snap will continue for the next few days with an inch of snow forecast today across southern and eastern areas as temperatures struggle to get above freezing.
The RAC said breakdown calls had doubled in some areas in the big freeze, with motorists unable to start their cars because of flat batteries or lack of anti-freeze, or encountering ice and snow patches.
